November 4 - The Big Day!  The past few days have been a blur.  Lots of canvassing until Sunday.  One crappy trailer had a Jaguar parked outside.  I had trouble putting those two nouns in a sentence that didn't also include "meth lab", so I let that address go by.  We split the Valencia County office from Saturday; we have the south county.  I am in charge of a crowd of about 40 canvassers to get out the vote.  It's trying.  Volunteers have various motivations and all of them are inclined to feel they can do whatever they want to do, not what they are asked to do.  More to say about volunteers later.  We have a software breakdown at the moment.  Six and a half hours until the polls close, though we will be working for some time after that until the last voter gets to cast a vote.
